That’s just WEIRD, Mom. I know it’s been in the pot for a while, but the finality is just so…final! We’re praying for you both and love you so much. And I can’t WAIT to have you close by!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You think THAT’S weird: you should be going through unmarked videos of, for instance, you and Shanna and Annie, carousing downtown, while contemplating a return to the same geographical location–talk about parallel universes!
Oh Mom, I BEG of you, do NOT throw that stuff away!!!! I guess you probably weren’t going to, but I had to jump on it just in case. I have some HYSTERICAL cassettes of Shanna and Shalom doing a “radio station” for me for my birthday.
Still, the one I want to find SOOOOO badly is the classic Annie and I did in 1st Canyon!
We’re hoping to view the classic canyon one someday, Dziew.
As for videos: I don’t throw family videos, no matter how lame! Haven’t seen the one of Shanna/radio or “the classic”, but we haven’t even scratched the surface of the boxes, yet.
Never fear, daughter dear.
This blog is becoming our email….
How amazing! Several months ago Gabe told me “when Dad decides to do something it happens fast.” I had to go right down and tell the kids. Grambee and Grandpa are moving back! Now you are committed! Can’t wait for the details…
YEEHA!
I can’t really believe we’ll finally live near you all!
YEEHA, for SURE!
OK. There are no details in THIS evening news. I’m surrounded by boxes from the truck and trying to make sense of them. Dad/George is getting the truck drive worthy. I’m trying to get rid of things, but I’m the sentimental one. I should just close my eyes and let Dad/George toss at will. (but not your stuff, Kate!) It might not be August, but I don’t think it would be later than mid September. We’d hate to miss the Lentil Festival! Watch this space for further developments….
Lentil festival? Lentil festival? Hm. Maybe I should start praying that my husband DOESN’T get that job up north of Idaho!
Lentil soup made with bay leaves and a couple of carrots. A splash of vinegar thrown in at the end. Are you guys just teasing me, or is there a lentil festival? Hm?
I better blog about it because it’s real and it’s a must see! Well, it’s real, anyway. Tase-T-Lentil even shows up!
I hope this means we’ll get to meet you guys. Still waiting on news of an arctic job, but within a couple of weeks we expect to know whether instead we’ll be breaking ground in the Land of the Green Chile.
